Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Add the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to a small saucepan.
  2. Whisk everything together until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir occasionally while the sauce cooks for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool slightly.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container for storage.
